Rule 1: Voter Eligibility & Authentication
Only duly registered, verified voters appearing on the final published electoral rolls are qualified to cast a vote. Dual enrollment or unauthorized representation is strictly prohibited and subject to immediate invalidation.
Rule 2: Secret Ballot Protection
Every voter has the inviolable right to cast their ballot in absolute secrecy. The system utilizes cryptographic separation between voter identity authentication and encrypted ballot storage to guarantee that individual choices remain strictly confidential.
Rule 3: Campaign Code of Conduct
Canvassing and promotional campaigns must conclude strictly at the declared campaign deadline before polling commences. Unethical solicitation, harassment, distribution of inducements, or defamation of competing candidates constitutes an electoral disqualification offence.
Rule 4: Tabulation & Audit Trail
Ballot counts are tallied systematically with permanent immutable audit logs. In the event of a dispute, recount mechanisms can be triggered by the Election Commission under prescribed oversight procedures.
